Professor Fairbanks
Cycle of Life

Watch enough seasons for reasons explainable

Only to those who take time

The show  which legions of  followers free

To know  the stitch or the rhyme

Will knowingly stake or rake smooth in trying

A claim  in a mound or a line.

To grow in these regions of hollows and trees

Is to be with the hitch and the tyne.

But for the rest who park at the market

Willing to fork over fine

A ching of the register brings in to balance

That which was not is now mine

All of us operate as opposites congregate

Along the thin edge of a dime

To represent freedom from absolute tedium

A cycle of life how sublime
